First of all let me say sorry for not posting in so long. It's been a busy month so far. Spring in Chico this year was really nice, but I didn't get to enjoy as much as I would have liked since I haven't done much besides go to school and commute from Chico to Sacramento. There have been a few fun experiences though in all that time.

My sister and a few of her friends came down to visit me a few weekends ago. I was really glad to get to show them what going to Chico State means. We had some friends over and threw a pretty fun party. We also went and saw the horse cops downtown, and did many other Chico things, making it what I call a true Chico experience.

I also was able to make a little bit of money since I last posted. Every year my neighborhood has a garage sale and this time I had a lot to sell. It was kind of weird selling my childhood, but it was also nice to be less burdened by stuff I no longer need. I made one-hundred and sixty dollars total which I used to begin paying off my program fees for my study abroad later this year.

Another exciting thing that happened just this last weekend was that I finally had my interview for my summer lifeguarding job. It went well and now all I need to do is pass my swim test(which I am training for since I am so out of shape). Another cool thing that happened last weekend was going and seeing Foals, one of my favorite bands. They perform a set at a local record store. I also got to meet the guys and get my cds signed.

One other thing that I have been working on lately is moving stuff out of my apartment in Chico and bringing it back to Sacramento. It is hard to believe that there is only 31 more days of school left. I have made a lot of memories living in this apartment for the last few years, and it is kind of strange seeing shelves slowly empty of all the stuff I have collected from various thrift stores over the years. I am however glad to be moving on with a new exciting part of my life.


From now on I am not going to post only on Sundays, and instead post whenever something interesting happens. Thanks for taking the time to read my blog and I'll update it again soon(A lot sooner than last time I promise).
